Bikers Winter Party featuring Betty Swallow Live, 2nd December 2016Following the success of 2015’s Biker Winter Party, this year bands from all over the country will perform live. Back on by popular demand, the headliner for the 2016 Winter Party is Betty Swallow, a sought-after cover band. Entry is free at the cafe, Iron Horse Ranch House in Lincolnshire and it serves delicious food, and promises to keep you fueled to survive an evening of revelry. Get there early to reserve the best seats in the house.
Southern Classic Off Road Show & Jumble, 3rd December 2016The month kicks off with the competition bikes display. You can expect Honda, Harley Davidson, Norton, and other such prominent bikes on display. Also included are, road racing, grass track, speedway, and speed racing. All this alongside over 250 stalls and Jumble related to motorcycles. This event is more of a socialising and meeting point than a bike race.
Starting at 9.30 am at Kempton Park Racecourse, Middlesex, the Road Show is a fun day out for adults and kids. The event is conceptualised by EGP Enterprises.
Christie’s Santa-Run, 4th December 2016What is Christmas without the spreading of cheer? Be a part of this altruistic ride that kicks off at Henry Boddingtons, Manchester.
It is tradition to dress up as Santa and visit sick children in the North West. The magnanimity of this event has grown over the years. The event is free. Do not forget to carry toys and other goodies. It is recommended that the gifts carried are ‘gift-wrapped’.
Burton Annual Toy Run and The Reading Toy Run, 4th December 2016There are two other events happening on the same day. The Burton Toy Run kicks off at Unwanted MCC Rockbar in Burton on Trent. At 9am, the registration opens. The ride starts at 11am and there will be a prize awarded for the best-dressed vehicle.
Also, happening on the same day is The Reading Toy Run, which kicks off from Amec Foster Wheeler. Participants must carry a new and unwrapped gift or toy. The procession styled travel will end at Barnardo’s School and other charities for children.
Unwanted MCC Christmas Party, 10th December 2016Unwanted MCC is a fraternity of bike clubs who enjoy riding alongside friends and family while having a good time. The group also organises several parties and other social gatherings which are free for all. One such most awaited event is the Unwanted MCC Christmas Party on Saturday, the 10th of December. Bands like Booze Brothers Disco and Acoustica will perform live. There is also a festive fancy dress competition, free camping, food, and a raffle.
The organisers suggest that those who are interested in participating in the event must purchase their tickets before hand to avoid the last minute rush.
