The GSXR is a big boy in the world of performance superbikes offering real competition to the likes of the BMWS1000RR and the Kawasaki ZX – 10R. Although it’s not as race-focused as other similar bikes, the GSXR1000 is a real gem in the superbike world - great brakes, more mid-range, lighter handling, and a simple yet stylish design puts the GSXR100 a head above others.
The machine has an exceptional engine and motor with class-leading torque quoted at 202 bhp, peak power might be a bit lower than the likes of the Fireblade and S1000RR, but through the midrange, the GSXR1000 proves much more usable.
